What is soft play?

Soft play is any activity that is designed with children in mind with soft surfaces on all levels. These surfaces are either full of air (as in the case of a bouncy castle) or filled with foam. These areas are often designed as obstacle courses with slides, multiple levels to climb up and down, tunnels to crawl through, and ball pits to play in. They create a safe space for children to play and socialise with little supervision needed from the adults who can sit and chat nearby (or crawl in to play!).
